Glück gehabt

Wow, what a luck ... Like so many others around us, the heavy and continuous rain kept us up all night. We anxiously watched the water coming closer and closer, filled and stacked sandbags to prevent the worst. Fortunately, the water receded just in time, and we were spared. A thousand thanks to the volunteer fire department of Plüderhausen, who stood by our side last night. An equally big THANK YOU goes to all women and men of the (volunteer) fire departments in the Rems-Murr district and beyond, who have been doing tremendous work for days.
